Building Use, Importance, and Newsworthiness: The Burgin’s have built a beautiful wedding venue, the Red Acre Barn, which will attract engaged couples from around the region to share their vows with each other. The interior is impeccably designed with reclaimed barn boards and corrugated steel. A wrap around second story balcony allows guests to look down on the party below. It features everything an event venue needs and more. Inside there are bride and groom areas, a bar, bathrooms, storage, an office, and a kitchen to top it off. The beautiful interior and exterior lend a perfect backdrop for photos of the just married happy couples.

Unique Features: A model for post frame buildings in that the exterior design is uniquely post frame matched with a conformable and practical interior. This is accomplished by using high end materials and design inside and out

Post-frame Advantage: The aesthetic of this project required post frame. The concept is a post frame building through and through. A tall second story and large clear spans allowed for flexibility in the layout. This in turn led to the perfect event space to be a host or guest.
